Ben Affleck Reportedly Buys New Home Amidst Jennifer Lopez Split Rumours

Ben Affleck has made headlines once again, this time for his recent real estate purchase in the upscale Pacific Palisades neighbourhood of Los Angeles. According to TMZ, the “Good Will Hunting” star has bought a stunning mansion for a whopping $US20.5 million ($31.3 million), sparking further speculation about the state of his marriage to Jennifer Lopez.

The timing of this acquisition is particularly noteworthy as it comes amidst swirling rumours that Affleck and Lopez, affectionately known as “Bennifer,” are heading towards a split.

The couple’s marital home, which they once shared with their blended family, remains on the market, adding fuel to the gossip mill.

Affleck’s new home is nothing short of luxurious. The mansion boasts five spacious bedrooms, each featuring walk-in closets, ensuring ample storage space for his designer wardrobe.

With six bathrooms, the property promises comfort and convenience for the actor and any guests he may host. The main house also includes dedicated breakfast and dining spaces, a family room perfect for gatherings, a den for more private moments, and a media room complete with a powder room, ideal for entertainment.

The property also reportedly includes a separate guesthouse.

Representatives for the actor did not immediately respond to Page Six for comment.

Affleck, 51, and Lopez, 55, have been trying to sell their 38,000-square-foot home since June. Initially, they attempted to sell the house off-market, but they made the listing public earlier this month.

Page Six confirmed that they have also put some of their art pieces up for sale.

The “Gigli” co-stars purchased the home in June 2023, almost a year after their elopement in Las Vegas, for just over $US60 million ($91.5 million).

In June, an insider told People that Affleck “never liked” their house because “it’s too far away from his kids.”

Meanwhile, the “On the Floor” singer reportedly thinks it’s “too big.”

The couple has been spending time apart amidst ongoing divorce rumors. Lopez was in the Hamptons during their second wedding anniversary and her 55th birthday on Wednesday, while Affleck stayed in Los Angeles.
