Meet makeup entrepreneur Meg Lewis, owner and head makeup artist of Meg Lewis Makeup & Co., home of Newcastle’s leading makeup artists. Meg knew from an early age makeup artistry was a career she wanted to pursue, and at 17 years old was the youngest Manager for Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics in Australia and awarded a scholarship to complete the Napoleon Perdis Artistry course. She’s worked on numerous campaign shoots for multiple clothing and swimwear labels including staple swim, and her incredible work has been featured in both national and international magazines.
At the age of 21, Meg decided to start her own makeup empire, creating Meg Lewis Makeup & Co. Aizel Brillantes has always been a creative soul. Having studied music and art throughout her education, she knew that her future career would be of an artistic nature.
At the age of 15, she discovered the first emergence of makeup tutorials from some of the greatest pioneers in the makeup industry and was immediately engrossed into the world of makeup. This is where it all began for Aizel, who started to research and explore her creativity through makeup and honed her technique at every opportunity.
In 2015, she studied at one of Australia’s elite make-up academies as she endeavoured to perfect her artistry while also working at one of the world’s leading makeup authorities – MAC Cosmetics. Upon graduating, Aizel founded Aizel Jane Makeup, where she embodies her own artistic identity and expresses her unique artistry and signature looks – a modern mixture of clean, soft and natural glamour that she has developed over her years of experience.
