New game-enhancing PRO 5000 with high-resolution OLED display launched worldwide
Motocaddy has launched the PRO 5000 Laser Rangefinder, delivering quick, accurate, and effortless distance measurement through cutting-edge technology to elevate on-course decision-making.
Available exclusively through the brand’s website (www.motocaddy.com.au), the new PRO 5000 Laser features PinLock technology with slope compensation and accuracy to within one yard. Offering an impressive range of up to 1500 yards – including 350 yards to the flag – the PRO 5000 delivers the confidence and precision required for ultimate shot planning.
Boasting a sleek, modern design, the crystal-clear OLED display ensures superb visibility in all lighting conditions, while class-leading 6x magnification provides exceptional clarity when locking onto the pin. Built-in target scanning and background noise reduction technologies further enhance the user experience.
Powered by a long-lasting rechargeable Li-Ion battery with USB-C charging for fast, reliable power, the PRO 5000 Laser features a precise slope-compensation algorithm that provides elevation-adjusted distances for more informed club selection. Slope mode can be disabled, making the device fully competition-legal when required. The Pin Lock function gives both vibration and visual confirmation when the target is acquired, ensuring absolute certainty and improving approach play. Automatic standby mode improves battery efficiency, while the adjustable eyepiece allows golfers to fine-tune focus for an optimised viewing experience.
“With the PRO 5000, we’ve taken the solid foundation from the award-winning PRO 3000 model it replaces, and improved every aspect, from the optics and accuracy, to ergonomics, styling and power efficiency, to create our most advanced rangefinder yet,” said Oliver Churcher, Motocaddy Marketing Director. “The price offers incredible value compared to other models on the market, and we anticipate it being a big hit with golfers,” he added.
Designed for modern convenience, a built-in magnetic cart mount enables seamless attachment to a riding cart, while compatibility with the Motocaddy Accessory Station ensures quick, convenient access for electric buggy users. A premium hard-shell carry case featuring a bag clip and quick-release mechanism offers added protection. Its compact 220g frame, ergonomic design, and textured rubber grips provide comfort and stability in all conditions, while its IPX5 water-resistance rating ensures reliable use in any weather.
In addition, golfers can also easily toggle between yards and metres to suit their measurement preference. The PRO 5000 is available now at www.motocaddy.com.au with an RRP of AU$449.99, backed by a comprehensive 24-month warranty.
