Google Pixel 6a is now open for pre-order in Australia, starting at just $749. The latest 6a will join the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro that were released last year in the country.

Pixel 6a will have the same processor as its siblings. The smartphone will have a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED screen with a 60Hz refresh rate.

The cameras are horizontally aligned, similar to Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. The main camera has a 12MP resolution along with a 12-MP ultra-wide camera, while the front camera has an 8 MP option.

The smartphone features an Adaptive Battery that promises all-day battery life (almost 24 hours) and up to 72 hours when in battery saver mode.

Coming with powerful hardware, the smartphone has Google’s own Tensor GS101 chipset and massive storage of 128 GB along with 6 GB RAM.

The smartphone also comes with other Pixel-specific software features such as Live Translate, Recorder, Live Caption, and the same speech recognition features from the Pixel 6 Pro.

Google’s new premium wireless earbuds, the Pixel Buds Pro, are also up for pre-order in the country.

The premium Buds come with an ear adaption technology using built-in sensors to measure the pressure in the ear canal.

The new earbuds have an amazing noise cancellation feature and allow multipoint connectivity.

Both smartphone and earbuds will be available from July 28 and can be easily pre-ordered from the Google Store, the three big telcos, and Harvey Norman.
