It looks like Chris Brown is in trouble with the law again. Controversial singer was accused of hitting a woman during an argument at a home in the San Fernando Valley.
Chris Brown is a Grammy Award-winner, who is more well known for his legal problems than his actual music and now he is once again back in the spotlight on Tuesday.
Accusation Against The Singer
Chris, 32, is accused of hitting a woman during a heated argument on Friday (June 18), according to NBC News.
There was an incident on Friday, June 18th around 730 in the morning when LAPD officers responded to a radio call at a residence in the 19600 block of Citrus Ridge. There was a victim who stated she had been in an argument with the suspect and he slapped her,” a spokesperson for the LAPD has informed the HollywoodLife news publication.
“The suspect was not at the location when police arrived. A report for battery was completed and will be submitted to the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office for filing consideration.”
No Arrests Made
TMZ also reported that the alleged victim was not injured and no arrests have been made at this time.
In the early hours of Tuesday morning, Chris took to instagram to post with a caption saying Yall so dam [cap emoji],” followed by nine laughing emojis, per XXL. Cap is slang for lying. It’s unclear if Chris was reacting to the reports of the accusations against him.
Previous Charges Against Chris
This alleged attack is the latest in a long series of legal challenges to the singer.
He will forever be linked to the February 8, 2009, on the very night that he physically abused his girlfriend Rihanna. Chris pleaded guilty to sexual assault and felony and had agreed to community service and five years of probation. Chris was arrested for assault in 2013, according to the PEOPLE.
