Tech conversations are often defined by disruption and speed, but Rapid Ai4 Learning stands out for its patient, human-first approach. Founded by Dinesh Poorun and Mohammed Sabsabi, two education veterans with decades of experience, the initiative is focused on making sure no one gets left behind in the process of keeping up with AI.

Rapid Ai4 Learning is dedicated to equipping educators, training professionals, and organisational leaders with the literacy, competency, and confidence to engage meaningfully with AI. But unlike many training providers that focus on flashy tools or technical deep-dives, this venture builds from the inside out: prioritising ethical frameworks, critical thinking, and real-world application that strengthens the role of humans in learning ecosystems.

A Grounded Approach to an Accelerating Landscape

At its core, Rapid Ai4 Learning exists to bridge a widening gap between the rapid pace of AI development and the slower-moving structures of education and training. With AI permeating every industry, education has often been slow to adapt; not because of resistance, but because of a lack of accessible, context-aware guidance.

This is where Dinesh and Mohammed’s shared vision takes root. Both founders bring a long history of working across the academic, vocational, and not-for-profit sectors, shaping capability frameworks and designing curriculum that respond to real-world needs. Now, they’re applying that experience to AI, working not just with educators, but with learning and development (L&D) departments, corporate training teams, and community-based organisations across the Asia-Pacific.

What sets their offering apart is how deeply embedded their philosophy is: this isn’t AI for AI’s sake. It’s AI designed to serve humans, particularly learners, trainers, and the broader communities they belong to.

Human-Centred AI in Practice

A key pillar of Rapid Ai4 Learning’s work is their Human-Centred AI Framework, an approach that emphasises the ethical use of AI tools while keeping humans in the loop. Rather than framing AI as a replacement for human work, this framework promotes its use as a support mechanism: augmenting judgment, enhancing creativity, and removing friction in everyday tasks.

For the education and training sector, this distinction is crucial. It ensures that AI is implemented with fairness, empathy, and accessibility in mind. This includes designing tools that accommodate cultural and linguistic differences, adapt to individual learning styles, and support the professional autonomy of educators.

From a practical standpoint, that could mean anything from helping a teacher use generative AI to differentiate learning materials, to helping a team lead design better workflows, or helping executives make policy decisions with confidence.

AI Training That Meets People Where They Are

While many AI education initiatives focus on tech-heavy instruction or coding bootcamps, Rapid Ai4 Learning offers something different: tailored pathways that acknowledge the varying levels of fluency across an organisation.

Their training is built to be modular, experiential, and grounded in day-to-day context. Programs don’t just teach how AI tools work, they also encourage participants to ask critical questions about how those tools are used, what unintended consequences might arise, and how teams can mitigate risk while embracing innovation.

Participants who enrol in the Professional Certificate in Human Centred AI for Learning workshop receive an industry recognised certification that contributes to their career advancement and ongoing professional development. The program is designed around practical, project-based learning, where participants bring their own project concept to the workshop and, through instructor-led training, develop and refine it using AI tools and ethical frameworks introduced during the course.

Rapid Ai4 Learning collaborates with two dedicated AI for learning technology partners, Coursebox and Edcafe, both of which provide free commercial licences for participants. This partnership allows educators and leaders to experience and apply AI technologies built specifically for teaching and learning, ensuring every participant leaves with not only conceptual understanding but hands-on experience.

In addition to core literacy programs for general staff, the team also provides strategic advisory services for senior leaders, covering topics such as AI governance, policy, workforce planning, and change readiness. These wrap-around services are designed to ensure that AI adoption becomes an enduring organisational capability.

A Focus on Equity and Regional Reach

Beyond institutional clients, Dinesh and Mohammed are deeply invested in equitable access to AI knowledge. Part of their mission includes reaching communities that are often overlooked in digital transformation efforts: regional Australia, remote learning centres, and countries across the Asia-Pacific region where digital infrastructure or training resources may be limited.

By creating initiatives that lower the barriers to entry, whether through community programs, subsidised learning cohorts, or accessible online delivery, they aim to democratise AI skills and ensure broad participation in the future of work. For them, AI is a social shift as much as it is a technical one. And ensuring that people can participate fully in this shift means making learning as inclusive as possible.

A Mission Rooted in Education

While the founders are clear-eyed about the pace of change, their message is grounded in long-term thinking. They recommend ongoing, continuous learning, not just a one-off training, to maintain competitive advantage and organisational resilience.

This mindset reflects their own practice as lifelong learners. Both Dinesh and Mohammed have continually upskilled in AI, attending international courses and embedding new knowledge into their programs. But perhaps more importantly, they’ve remained grounded in their core identities as educators.

By framing AI not as an abstract technological threat but as a practical, human-aligned tool, they’re helping the sector shift focus from fear and uncertainty to empowerment and adaptability.
