Former US President Donald Trump has launched a social media platform, a platform that will ultimately empower him to communicate directly with his supporters.
Mr Trump was banned from Twitter and Facebook in January after violating policies regarding the promotion of violence.

The space will allow Mr. Trump to post ideas, photos and videos.
It’s technology seems to be empowered by Camp Nucleus – “a digital system designed to effectively manage campaigns and political parties” – developed by former campaign manager Brad Parscale.
The space allows Mr. Trump to post, and allows fans to share the former president’s post on Twitter and Facebook, however, the new platform has no feature to allow users to “respond” or engage further with Trump’s post.
One-Way Communication
“This is just a one-way communication,” one source familiar with the space told Fox News. “This system allows Trump to communicate with his followers.”
Mr Trump’s new platform came on Tuesday, after advisers told Fox News that the former president had planned to “go ahead” to build a social media platform following the ban on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Spapchat following the Capitol riots.
“President Trump’s website is a great source of information for his latest statements and highlights from his first term in office, but this is not a new social media platform,” senior consultant Jason Miller told Fox News.
“We’ll have more details coming our way soon.”
Background Of Trump’s Suspension
The release of the forum also comes just a day before the Facebook Oversight Board is expected to announce its decision to suspend Mr Trump on Facebook and Instagram.
The board in January accepted a case referral from Facebook to examine the ban, as well as to provide policy recommendations on suspensions when the user is a political leader.
Facebook has moved to block Mr Trump “permanently” following the January 6 riots in the U.S. Capitol, CEO Mark Zuckerberg said “they believe the risks of allowing the President to continue using our platform at this time are enormous.”
In addition to Facebook’s decision, a Twitter spokesman told Fox News that Mr Trump has been permanently suspended from the twitter micro-blogging platform.
A Facebook spokesman declined to comment on Mr Trump’s new platform.
A Twitter spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
