The phrase “our body is our temple” is a mantra that many people take for granted. With a vast ocean of misinformation and subjective anecdotes masquerading as common knowledge, it can be hard to learn and understand what the best methods of maintaining your temple are. But as fitness lifestyles continue to gain more widespread adoption, consulting the right sources and implementing systems that work with your unique body are essential.

Exercise Physiologist and Rehabilitation Coach Hayden Egerton has noticed the rise of unsustainable fitness trends and decided to take matters into his own hands. He uses his platform Resilience Rehab to share science driven concepts and methods for developing your body’s physiological & psychological systems to elevate overall strength and resilience, so people can enjoy life the way they want.

Hayden’s passion stems from his background as a rugby player, researching and testing methods for optimally recovering from injuries. He specializes in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and athletic performance, educating his clients on sustainable practises to care for, and cultivate the strength of their body. Having suffered from potentially career-ending injuries himself, Hayden developed a passion for rehabilitation and resilience. He was astounded by the body’s ability to recover and grow in the right circumstances, and is driven by the thrill of healing injuries and improving performance. Hayden has worked with multiple professional sporting teams and individual athletes, serving NRL and Rugby Union Premier teams and players in Strength and Conditioning, and Rehabilitation Specialist roles, demonstrating his ability to unlock the performance in bodies across the spectrum.

“I see the human body as something that should be robust, ‘resilient‘ and extremely capable,” Hayden stated. “As an Exercise Physiologist I am also able to treat a wide variety of conditions, including cardiopulmonary, metabolic, neurological, cancer, mental health and more“. Utilizing his knowledge and skills, Hayden takes a holistic approach to increasing your body’s performance, considering every perspective that could be affecting his client’s abilities and working with them to build sustainable foundations for their success.

Hayden’s philosophy is one of building ‘resilience‘. “I believe people should be able to recover quickly from difficulties, cope with change and challenges and bounce back from difficult times. Not only physically, but as people“. He gives his all for his clients, showing up not only a coach, but as friend invested in their journey. Hayden guides people to become the robust, resilient, capable human being they have the potential to be, with his clients praising his services as “smart, hard training with lots of laughs along the way“.

Hayden’s dedication to providing value outside of his training and consulting hours has seen him preparing to launch his website with The Resilience Institute; a low-cost, evidence based education platform that teaches people not just what to do, but the reasoning behind what we do for increased likelihood of long term success and adherence.

With a passion for assisting and educating people to optimize their ability to move and wield their body, Hayden Egerton is the authority on no-nonsense, proven methods for developing resilience and propelling you forward in life.
