Billie Eilish loses 100,000 followers on Instagram after sharing a photo that was NSFW.
Billie Eilish has too many fans.
However, 100,000 of them decided to dump the Bad Guy artist after posting an NSFW photo on Instagram.
What Happened?
The 19-year-old shared a nude body painting, as part of a photo-sharing contest the celebrities are engaging in this week.
Eilish has been asked by a fan to share a photo of a painting she is super-duper proud of, in response to a book page full of naked women’s bodies.
Billie posted the snap with the caption: “these probably lol i love boobs.”
The star later added a screenshot of her lock screen, which featured several portraits of naked women.
However, soon after the photos were posted, one user with an eagle’s eye saw that the artist had lost 100,000 fans, from 73 million fans to 72.9 million.
The fan took to Twitter to post their findings, with captions, “BYE NOT HER LOSING 100K CUZ OF BOOBS.”
What Was Billie’s Response?
Happily, Eilish laughed at the whole situation, took a tweet and posted it on her Instagram account. She wrote, “LMFAOOO y’all babies smh,” adding two skull emoji.
While the singer has expressed her love for the naked body, she has been forced to hit back at people have spoken about her own body in the past.
The singer, who is known for wearing baggy clothes to protect herself from being body shamed, was photographed wearing shorts and a spaghetti-strap tank top as she went for a walk in LA earlier this year.
The Ocean Eyes singer has taken to Instagram to share her thoughts with all those who hate her by rewriting Tikizi Duru’s TikTok video with captions, “Can we normalize normal bodies?”
Duru goes on to say, “Ya’ll got to start normalising real bodies, ok? Not everyone has a wagon behind them, ok? Guts are normal. They’re normal. Boobs sag, especially after breastfeeding. Instagram isn’t real.”
She then posted a photo of herself on Instagram wearing a tank top with captions saying, “Do you really want to go back in time?”
Eilish has spoken out openly about her contempt for physical shame (body-shaming).
“I never want the world to know everything about me. I mean, that’s why I wear big baggy clothes. Nobody can have an opinion because they haven’t seen what’s underneath, you know?” she explained in a video for Calvin Klein in May 2019.
“Nobody can be like, ‘Oh she’s slim-thick, she’s not slim-thick, she got a flat a**, she got a fat a**.’ Nobody can say any of that because they don’t know.”
She also opened up about being slut-shamed for wearing a bathing suit, saying in April, “I can’t win.”
