About SAS Australia
The Special Air Service Regiment (SASR), more commonly known as the SAS, is an Australian special forces unit. The structure of the TV show SAS Australia and its training module matches the toughness of the SASR training regime. Each year, quite a few contestants go head to head in the various SAS tasks, and only one remains at the end. However, many of the contestants pull out of the competition voluntarily due to its gruesome nature.
